Professionally, I am an experienced speech language pathologist with a demonstrated history of working in outpatient hospital settings and the healthcare industry; skilled in pediatrics, acute care, healthcare management, basic life support, clinical research, and evaluations.
Personally, I am Mom to my amazing son, daughter to the best Dad there is, sister and friend, an avid animal lover, absolute foodie and aspiring culinary queen as well as enjoy staying active with tennis, yoga, and working out.
My journey to becoming a speech-language pathologist is deeply rooted in my medical background and personal experiences. Growing up in a family that valued health and wellness, I was always drawn to the medical field.
However, it was my grandfather’s battle with Parkinson’s disease that truly inspired me to pursue this path. Witnessing the challenges he faced with communication and swallowing not only highlighted the critical role that speech language pathologists play in improving quality of life but also ignited a passion within me to help others facing similar struggles.
This personal connection drives my commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of individuals with communication disorders.
I have a deep appreciation for the outdoors and love spending time in nature, whether it’s hiking, fishing with my son, or simply enjoying the fresh air. Being surrounded by animals brings me joy, and I cherish moments spent with friends and family.
In addition to my outdoor pursuits, I enjoy playing tennis, cooking delicious meals, and traveling to new places. I also love to unwind with a good book or catch up on my favorite Netflix series. Each of these activities enriches my life and brings me happiness.
